Patients with facial trauma may have a bone fracture like nasal; mandibular etc. These patients must be examined and have x rays and computed tomography to have a diagnostic of the trauma. Patients should be treated in a matter of 4 to 6 days after trauma otherwise bone consolidation will occurs and restauration of normal anatomy will be more difficult. Dental traumas are very common and can be treated in an office basis unless the patient is a child that must be treated at the hospital. Anesthesia is general and time of surgery and hospitalization will depend upon the severity of the trauma.
